Charys Caldarella is the founder of Styelle. She had a passion for the protection of our planet and a love for the beach. The fabrics are printed both digitally and by hand (screen-printed) and they use an incredibly special fabric called Amni Soul-Eco (Fluity Co2) that is biodegradable. Yep! Biodegradable. You read it well.
And before you ask, the answer is no, it will not fall apart in the water just because it's biodegradable. It has to be discarded and will break down once it is treated in landfill.
Biodegradable swimwear boasts an average of 3–5-year life expectancy (depending on where you live and the severity of the conditions) while being 30% biodegradable.
